Pamper your Pooch with a Spa Day!

All "Spa Day Specials" include:

CAPSTAR Flea Treatment
All dogs are given a CAPSTAR tablet upon arrival for spa treatment.
CAPSTAR is a simple, easy-to-use, oral flea-control product for dogs and cats that quickly kills adult fleas. It's the right choice for a flea-free facility because CAPSTAR is fast acting, safe convenient and effective. CAPSTAR starts killing adult fleas within 30 minutes. A single CAPSTAR dose kills more than 90 percent of adult fleas on dogs within 4 hours. It has no labeled side effects and can be used along with other flea-control products and medications commonly dispensed by veterinarians, including heartworm preventives, deworming products, shampoos and antibiotics. CAPSTAR is eliminated from a pet's system rapidly, which enhances safety and reduces the opportunity for fleas to develop resistance.

Therapeutic Baths:
Your companion will receive a therapeutic bath using a shampoo designed to brighten white coats and enhance colored coats. It will gently clean while restoring the moisture balance in both hair and skin.

Pawdicures:
Just like people, animals require care for their feet. While a pedicure is often seen as a luxury treatment for most individuals, it also serves the very important purpose of maintaining the appearance of the feet, and the health of the skin and nails. Because animals have nothing to protect their paw pads, it is not uncommon for paw pads to become dry. Animals must have their nails trimmed to maintain proper foot care.

Anal Gland Expression:
Oftentimes dogs are unable to express these glands themselves which can lead to discomfort and even infection. As a part of their spa day experience, a qualified Veterinary Technician will express these glands manually, relieving their discomfort and preventing infection.

Ear Cleansing
Our apple scented ear cleanser is specially formulated to deodorize, gently clean, and dry the external ear canal. This provides an environment which promotes healthy ears, and aids in the prevention of external ear infections.

Coat Brush Out
Once your pet is dry we will perform a 15 minute brush out. Regular brushing removes excess hair from your dog's coat, and cuts down significantly on the amount of hair you have to deal with in your home. It also helps distribute the natural oils in your dog's fur and skin, keeping their coat healthy and looking its best.

Oral Hygiene
We will brush your pet's teeth, perform a Complimentary Dental Exam, and send your companion home with a home care dental kit. We will inform you of your pet's oral health assessment, and advise you of any recommendations from our doctor team. Dental care is one of the most commonly overlooked areas of pet health care; however, it is necessary to provide optimum health and quality of life. Diseases of the oral cavity, if left untreated, are often painful and can lead to more serious health problems including heart, lung, and kidney disease.
